This policy explains what personal information Pava Logistics Inc collects through pavalogistics.com, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have.
1. Who We Are
Pava Logistics Inc provides freight transportation services, including dry van, flatbed, and intermodal shipping, and is based in Bartlett, Illinois. Through this website, we also recruit truck drivers and offer a Truck Lease Program. In this policy, “Pava Logistics,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Pava Logistics Inc.
Questions and privacy requests: hr@pavalogistics.com · (224) 604-4630 · 484 Miles Pkwy UNIT A, Bartlett, IL 60103, United States.
2. Scope of This Policy
This policy covers pavalogistics.com and the requests you send through its forms: the freight quote form, the contact form, the driver application form, and the truck lease application forms. It does not cover other websites, including websites we link to, which have their own policies. Cookie choices and opt-outs of sale/sharing that you make on this website apply to this website, in the browser in which you make them.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information, such as Social Security, driver’s license, or financial account numbers, through these forms; please do not include it in a message.
3. Customer Inquiries
- Freight quote form (on the home page and on the Get a Quote, About, Services, Fleet, and equipment pages): your full name, phone number, email address, the service you need (dry van, flatbed, or intermodal), and the shipment details you write (see Shipment Details).
- Contact form (on the Contact page): your full name, phone number, email address, and your message.
We use this information to answer your request or message, prepare quotes, contact you about your request, and keep a record of the requests we receive. Each request is stored on our website and passed to the services we use to handle requests, as described in Who Receives Information, except a repeat of a recent request (see Technical and Device Data).
4. Shipment Details
The quote form asks for Shipment Details: what you write about the shipment, such as pickup and delivery locations, cargo type, and timeline, together with the service type you select.
We use shipment details to prepare a quote and, if you book a shipment with us, to arrange the transportation. Shipment details travel with your request: they are stored with it, included in the email and Telegram notifications about it, and added as a note to the request in HighLevel, the CRM service we use. The website is set up so that shipment details are not sent to analytics or advertising providers.
5. Driver Applications
The driver application form on the Drive With Us page asks for your full name, phone number, email address, driving experience, CDL type (CDL A, CDL B, or other), and any additional details you write, such as preferred routes or questions.
We use your application for recruiting: to review it, to contact you about driving with us, and to keep a record of the applications we receive. Our recruiting team follows up on applications. Applications are stored on our website and reach the services described in Who Receives Information; in HighLevel, an application is recorded with your experience, CDL type, and message.
When Analytics is on (by default in the United States, otherwise with your permission), Google Analytics records that an application was sent, with the type of form only and without the details you typed. This website does not report completed driver applications to Meta.
Please do not send your driver’s license, Social Security number, motor vehicle record (MVR), or other documents through the website forms. If documents are needed, our recruiting team will tell you how to provide them. For requests about your application, see Your Choices and Privacy Rights.
6. Truck Lease Applications
The application forms on the Truck Lease Program page ask for your full name, phone number, and CDL-A experience, and they also send the name of the program; they do not ask for an email address.
We use this information to call you back about the Truck Lease Program, confirm whether you qualify, and walk you through the program. Our recruiting team follows up on lease applications, which are stored on our website and reach the services described in Who Receives Information.
With your Advertising permission, the Meta Pixel reports that a truck lease application was completed, and when Analytics is on, Google Analytics records it; both receive the type of form only, without the details you typed.
The form does not ask for a Social Security number; please do not send documents or your Social Security number through it. For requests about your application, see Your Choices and Privacy Rights.
7. Technical and Device Data
- Stored with every request. When you send a form, our website stores your IP address, your browser and device type (user agent), the address of the page you sent it from, and the date and time together with your request. We use them to deliver your request, to know which page it came from, and to detect spam and abuse. Without your Advertising permission, the page address is stored without its query string.
- Approximate location. So that our records show roughly where a request came from, our website sends the IP address of each form submission to the geolocation service ipwho.is and stores the country, region, city, and internet service provider it returns with your request; this also happens for submissions that the form rejects and for those that our spam filter flags. For each request that the form accepts, including requests that our spam filter flags, it also sends the IP address to ip-api.com, over an unencrypted (HTTP) connection, to add the city, region, and country to the email notification about the request.
- Incomplete submissions. The website stores what you entered, and sends it to HighLevel and Telegram, as soon as you send a form, before it checks that every required field is filled in. If the form then rejects the submission, for example because a required field is empty, what you entered remains stored and forwarded.
- Campaign information, only with your Advertising permission. If you allow Advertising, the forms also send, with your request, the campaign parameters (such as
utm_source) and ad click identifiers (Google’sgclidand Meta’sfbclid) from the link that brought you to this website, the full address of the page you send the form from, and the address of the website that referred you, without its query string. Your browser keeps the campaign parameters, click identifiers, and referring address for up to 90 days in cookies that are set only with Advertising permission. Without Advertising permission, our server removes them from every request before it is stored, emailed, or sent to HighLevel or Telegram; a repeat submission (below) can still resend campaign information stored with an earlier request. - Repeat submissions. If a request arrives with the same email address or phone number as a recent request of the same type (quote and contact requests count as one type), the website may treat it as a repeat. It then does not store the new submission or send it to HighLevel or Telegram: it updates the time of the earlier request, and HighLevel and Telegram may receive that earlier request again, with any campaign information stored with it, even if Advertising permission was withdrawn or an opt-out was made in the meantime. The new submission reaches our team only in the email notification, if the form accepts it.
- Web hosting. Hostinger, our web host, processes technical data about each visit, such as your IP address, browser details, and the address requested, to deliver the website.
Cookies and similar technologies are described in the next section.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Advertising uses strict opt-in for every visitor, wherever they are: advertising technologies do not load, run, or store identifiers in your browser before you allow them, and strictly necessary technologies always run. Analytics: if your browser is set to a United States time zone, Google Analytics runs by default, without Google signals and without ad personalization, and you can switch it off with Reject non-essential or Cookie settings; it does not start on its own while Global Privacy Control or your sale/sharing opt-out applies. For visitors elsewhere, Analytics stays off until they allow it. Visiting, scrolling, or sending a form does not count as permission for Advertising, and sending a form does not change your cookie choices. On your first visit, a notice lets you Reject non-essential, Accept all, or Manage choices to allow Analytics and Advertising separately. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and you can request a quote or apply to drive either way.
- Analytics, by default in the United States, elsewhere only if you allow it: Google Analytics measures how the site is used: the pages you view, including any campaign parameters and ad click identifiers in their addresses, and how you use them, for example scrolling, clicks on links to other websites, and starting or sending a form; clicks on our phone and email links; completed requests and applications, recorded with the type of form only; and device and browser information. Google receives your IP address with these measurements. Google Analytics runs without Google signals and without ad personalization; its other advertising-related consent settings stay off unless you also allow Advertising.
- Only if you allow Advertising: the Meta Pixel collects a browser identifier stored in your browser, ad click identifiers, the pages you view, and events: page views, clicks on our phone and email links, and completed quote, contact, and truck lease requests, recorded with the type of form only and without the details you type. This website does not report completed driver applications to Meta, and its server does not send information to Meta. With Advertising permission, the forms also send campaign information with your request, as described in Technical and Device Data. Advertising stays off while Global Privacy Control or your opt-out applies.
The website is set up so that the details you type into its forms, such as your name, phone number, email address, shipment details, and application details, are not sent to analytics or advertising providers.
Your choice is stored for up to 12 months from your latest choice in a single first-party cookie, adc_consent, which records only your choice, the time you made it, and the policy version it applies to, with no identifiers, IP address, or form data. Your browser may delete it sooner, for example when you clear site data; we then ask again. Your browser’s session storage also keeps a few technical notes for the current visit, such as whether your browser sends Global Privacy Control. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. A withdrawal stops new optional activity in this browser and removes the optional cookies this site can reach; it does not delete information that providers have already received.
The map on our Contact page loads only if you choose to show it, and the site’s font is loaded from Google Fonts on every page. Our Cookie Notice explains each category and lists every technology, its provider, and how long it lasts.
9. Who Receives Information
Personal information collected through this website reaches the following recipients.
- Our team: people at Pava Logistics Inc who handle quotes, shipments, recruiting, and the Truck Lease Program.
- Business partners directly involved in carrying out a shipment you book with us.
- Companies and tools that run our website and handle requests:
- Hostinger, our web host, which hosts the website and its database, where requests are stored. Its mail system also sends the email notification that the website creates for each request that the form accepts, including requests that our spam filter flags: to a Pava Logistics email address, with the details of the request, the time, your IP address and approximate location, your browser details, and the address of the page it came from; only with Advertising permission, that address includes its campaign parameters, and the email also includes ad click identifiers.
- HighLevel (GoHighLevel), a customer relationship management (CRM) service we use to record and follow up on requests. It receives each quote, contact, driver, and truck lease request as soon as you send it: your name, phone number, and email address (the lease form has none); the form you used and the address of the page you sent it from; the full text of quote and contact requests; and, for driver and truck lease applications, your experience and, for driver applications, also your CDL type and message. Apart from repeat submissions, which can resend an earlier request with any campaign information stored with it (see Technical and Device Data), it receives campaign information only with your Advertising permission; it does not receive your IP address, browser details, or location. Because requests are sent as soon as they arrive, HighLevel may also receive incomplete submissions that the form then rejects; submissions flagged as spam are not sent.
- Telegram, a messaging service through which our team is notified about new requests. A notification contains your name, phone number, email address, the service type, CDL type, or experience you entered, up to 500 characters of your message, the page it was sent from (without its query string), your IP address, and, only with Advertising permission, the campaign source, medium, and name; for a repeat submission, Telegram may receive the earlier request again, with any campaign information stored with it (see Technical and Device Data). Notifications are also sent for submissions that the form later rejects, but not for those flagged as spam.
- ipwho.is and ip-api.com, IP geolocation services, which receive the IP address of a request and return an approximate location, as described in Technical and Device Data.
- Developers who maintain this website; this work gives them access to the website and its data, including requests.
- Google:
- Google Fonts, on every page: when the site’s font loads, Google receives your IP address, browser details, and the address of this website.
- Google Maps, only if you choose to show the map on the Contact page: Google receives your IP address, browser details, and the address of this website, and may set or read its own cookies.
- Google Analytics, by default for visitors in the United States and otherwise with your Analytics permission.
- Meta, through the Meta Pixel, only with your Advertising permission and not while Global Privacy Control or your opt-out applies.
- WordPress.org, only if your browser cannot display an emoji used on a page: your browser then loads the image from WordPress.org (s.w.org), which receives your IP address, browser details, and the address of this website.
- Authorities, courts, or others when the law requires it, or when needed to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers: a buyer or successor if our business or its assets are sold, merged, or reorganized.
10. “Sale” and “Sharing”
When you allow Advertising, the Meta Pixel gives Meta access to identifiers and browsing activity on this website, and, if you have allowed Analytics as well, Google consent mode lets Google Analytics data be used for Google’s advertising features other than ad personalization. Some U.S. state privacy laws may treat this as a “sale” of personal information, as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or as targeted advertising. The categories of personal information involved are identifiers (such as cookie identifiers, ad click identifiers, and IP address) and internet or other electronic network activity (such as pages viewed and interactions with this website).
You can opt out at any time, without creating an account, by selecting Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information at the bottom of any page. The opt-out also works without JavaScript, through the form in our Cookie Notice, and applies to this browser on this website. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out for that browser: while it is on, Advertising stays off and cannot be switched on here, and, when JavaScript is on, we also keep the opt-out on record in this browser. Choosing Accept all or a later change in our technologies does not cancel an opt-out. Analytics does not start on its own while GPC is on, also in the United States, and remains a separate choice that you can allow or refuse.
An opt-out does not delete information that providers have already received; to ask for deletion, see How to Make a Privacy Request.
11. How Long We Keep Information
How long information is kept depends on where it is:
- Requests on our website, with the form details, the technical data and approximate location stored with them, and the campaign information sent with Advertising permission, are currently kept until we delete them; there is no automatic deletion date. Incomplete submissions are kept in the same way.
- Submissions flagged as spam are deleted from the website’s records automatically after 30 days.
- Copies in HighLevel, in Telegram, and in email are not covered by that automatic deletion; they are kept until they are deleted there.
- Service records: if sending a request to HighLevel fails, the website keeps a copy of the request in its database until it tries again; a log of the last 20 transfers to HighLevel, with the name from each request and the result, is kept until newer transfers replace it.
- Location lookups: our server also keeps a temporary copy of each location lookup result, which expires after 1 hour (ip-api.com) or 7 days (ipwho.is).
- Backups and working copies of the website and its database, which can contain requests, are kept until they are deleted.
- Your privacy choices: the
adc_consentcookie lasts up to 12 months from your latest choice; a new choice replaces the earlier one, but a recorded opt-out of sale/sharing stays in place. - Analytics and advertising cookies last for the periods listed in our Cookie Notice and are set only while the category is on: Advertising after you allow it, Analytics by default in the United States or after you allow it. Information that Google and Meta have received is kept according to their own practices and the settings of the accounts used for this website.
- Server logs kept by our web host are retained according to its practices.
12. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Choices in your browser. You can reject or withdraw optional technologies with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, and opt out of sale/sharing with Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, also at the bottom of every page, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. These choices need no account and no proof of identity, and they apply to the browser in which you make them.
Privacy rights. Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct inaccurate personal information;
- ask us to delete personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (see “Sale” and “Sharing”);
- appeal our decision if we decline your request, where the law gives you that right;
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Driver and truck lease applicants. Requests about a driver application or a truck lease application are handled under the law that applies to that information, which may give you different rights from those listed above. You can make such requests in the same way.
To make a request, see How to Make a Privacy Request.
13. How to Make a Privacy Request
Email hr@pavalogistics.com or call (224) 604-4630, and tell us what you are asking for and how we can reach you. To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm details we already have, for example the email address or phone number you used, before we act on a request to access, correct, or delete information. If someone else makes a request for you, we may ask for proof of your permission and confirm your identity with you directly. Cookie settings and the opt-out of sale/sharing described above work without a request, an account, or verification.
14. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our website does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, because there is no common standard for them. It does honor Global Privacy Control: a GPC signal keeps Advertising off and counts as an opt-out of sale/sharing for that browser, as described in “Sale” and “Sharing”.
15. Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults, such as shippers and professional drivers. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us so that we can delete it.
16. Security
We take steps designed to protect the information we handle; for example, this website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections. The location lookup with ip-api.com, described in Technical and Device Data, uses an unencrypted (HTTP) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information.
17. Links to Other Websites
This website links to other websites, such as our Instagram profile and Google Maps. When you follow such a link, the other website’s own privacy policy applies; we are not responsible for its content or practices.
18. Changes to This Policy
When we update this policy, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we add optional technologies or new purposes for them, we will ask for your choice again before using them; an existing opt-out stays in place.
